PHILIPPINE ELECTRONICS EXPORT PERFORMANCE FEBRUARY 2026

 

Electronics exports contracted by 0.91% in November 2025 to US$ 4.47 billion, which is 64.75% of the US$ 6.91 billion total Philippine exports.

 

A. PH Electronics Exports: (Month-on-Month)

Electronics exports improved by 5.16% from US$ 4.31 billion in January 2026 to US$ 4.53 billion in February 2026, as shown in Fig. 1.

 

Exports in six (6) sectors went up as shown in Table 2. This was led by Medical/Industrial Instrumentation at 116.92%, from US$ 39.99 million to US$ 86.75 million, followed by Automotive Electronics (19.95%), Electronic Data Processing (12.60%), Consumer Electronics (8.66%), Communication/Radar (7.06%), and Semiconductor Components/Devices (4.12%).

 

Meanwhile, Office Equipment declined by 28.73%, from US$ 30.31 million to US$ 21.60 million. It was followed by Control and Instrumentation (16.56%), and Telecommunication (7.64%).

B. PH Electronics Exports: (Year-on-Year)

The Philippine Electronics exports climbed by 18.11%, from US$ 3.83 billion in February 2025 to US$ 4.53 billion in February 2026, as shown in Fig. 2. 

 

Exports in six (6) sectors increased, led by Medical/Industrial Instrumentation at 63.65%, from US$ 53.01 million to US$ 86.75 million. This was followed by Telecommunication (54.27%), Communication/Radar (28.47%), Semiconductor Components/Devices (26.87%), Consumer Electronics (19.64%), and Control and Instrumentation (2.12%). Kindly refer to Table 2.

 

Office Equipment contracted by 48.81%, from US$ 42.20 million to US$ 21.60 million. It was followed by Automotive Electronics (19.66%), and Electronic Data Processing (9.94%).

C.  PH Electronics Exports (Year-to-Date)

Year-to-date electronics exports went up by 17.77%, from US$ 7.50 billion in 2025 to US$ 8.83 billion in 2026, which is equivalent to 61.04% of the total Philippine exports. Please see Fig. 3.

 

Exports from six (6) sectors rose from last year’s YTD figures, led by Telecommunication at 65.33%, from US$ 147.21 million to US$ 243.39 million. This was followed by Consumer Electronics (38.32%), Medical/Industrial Instrumentation (27.77%), Communication/Radar (24.71%), Semiconductor Components/Devices (24.66%), and Control and Instrumentation (9.00%). Meanwhile, Office Equipment shrunk by 30.68%, from US$ 74.89 million to US$ 51.91 million. It was followed by Automotive Electronics (13.46%), and Electronic Data Processing (9.35%).

COUNTRIES OF DESTINATION (FEBRUARY 2026)

Table 1 shows the top five (5) export destinations in February 2026, namely, the USA (19.70%), Hong Kong (18.10%), China (8.24%), Germany (5.95%), and Taiwan (5.83%).

The other destinations in the top ten were Japan (5.65%), Singapore (5.32%), the Netherlands (3.97%), Malaysia (3.70%), and Thailand (3.43%).

The top exported electronics products in February 2026 are in Fig. 4. Integrated Circuits improved by 47.04%. Meanwhile, Electronic Integrated Circuits – Processors and Controllers decreased by 8.03%. See Table 4.
