The GMMs are scheduled quarterly to address various industry concerns. Top-level executives network, partner and exchange information on the current state and trends in the global and Philippine semiconductor and electronics industry.
  • SEIPI has eight (8) Networking Committees (NWCs) which cover functional areas that are vital to the success of the industry. They act as the platform for benchmarking and exchange of ideas, and organize a wide variety of training programs geared for current needs of the members to strengthen the global competitiveness of the industry.
  • The CEO Forum, an annual business and technology meeting among CEOs, Presidents, Vice Presidents, General Managers and Senior Executives of the semiconductor and electronics companies in the Philippines, usually graced by the incumbent Philippine President, is held during the October GMM coincident with the Philippine Electronics Week, and the founding anniversary of SEIPI.
  • SEIPI presents ground-breaking news and updates on the latest trends and technologies during the Philippine Semiconductor and Electronics Convention and Exhibition (PSECE), an annual international event (the only one of its kind in the country) for the leading companies in the semiconductor and electronics industry. The convention attracts distinguished local and foreign speakers as well as foreign and local exhibitors to show case new products and share valuable information.
  • SEIPI addresses various industry concerns through Technical Working Groups (TWGs), facilitates advocacy initiatives, and represents the best interests of its members and the industry.
  • It partners with government agencies such as DTI/BOI, PEZA, TESDA, DOST, DENR, DOLE and DOT to address mutual objectives.
  • SEIPI offers various sports and recreational activities, fellowships and social gatherings scheduled throughout the year, such as golf tournaments, badminton, table tennis, bowling, runs and other activities to foster camaraderie and strengthen relationships among the members.

Transforming Energy for A Better World

We are advancing business and communities by providing reliable and ample power supply at a reasonable and competitive price, and with the least adverse effects on the environment and host communities.

Powering the country’s economic growth with reliable and sustainable energy

We have embarked on our energy transition journey that aims to balance our generation portfolio mix with almost 50:50 Renewable and Thermal capacities, as aligned with the energy trilemma of balancing the availability, cost-efficiency, and sustainability of the country’s energy system.

Together with our partners, we are the Philippines’ largest owner and operator of renewable energy based on installed capacity.

In the next 10 years, we aim to significantly expand our Cleanergy (renewable energy) portfolio. We plan to build an additional 3,700 MW of renewable energy, more than doubling our existing Cleanergy capacity by 2030. We also have thermal power plants in our generation portfolio to support the country’s baseload and peak energy demands.

We own and manage several distribution utilities that operate in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao regions, including the country’s second and third largest private distribution utilities.

We were a first mover in the market and have since continued to grow our customer base. We provide value-added services on top of our basic energy product offerings to our customers across 27 industries in the Philippines.
