SEIPI member-companies support the Philippine Red Cross in replenishing its blood bank through employee blood donations.
SEIPI consolidated the AstraZeneca (Go Negosyo) and Moderna vaccine (ICTSI Foundation) orders of our member-companies. We also doubled our orders for the AstraZeneca vaccines to donate to the government.

SEIPI and its member-companies turned over a total of PhP 1,836,180.00 to the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), and PhP 928,222.00 to the Kaya Natin Foundation through the Office of the Vice President.
The donors were recognized during SEIPI’s Q4 General Membership Meeting/CEOs Forum on November 13, 2020. The donors met with PRC Chairman and Senator Richard Gordon, and Her Excellency Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Gerona Robredo on December 4 and 17, 2020, respectively.
ASITEP, SEIPI’s Networking Committee (NWC) for Information Technology, initiated SEIPI’s Bayanihan Program for Distance Learning to support our future workforce during the ongoing pandemic. The project was supported by ASEMEP, the NWC for Manufacturing Engineering, and its four (4) Communities of Practice (COPs).
As of December 2020, over PhP 1.8 million worth of computer hardware, gadgets and school supplies from the five (5) member-companies were donated to various schools, barangays, and foundation in Laguna and Batangas.

As of Aug. 5, 2020, over PhP 41 million worth of donations (PPEs, food and cash) from the generosity of 59 member-companies were given to 101 hospitals and health centers, various government agencies (DOH, DTI, PEZA, PNP, BFP, LGUs), and communities nationwide, in support of the battle against COVID-19.

Donations from SEIPI member-companies for the victims of the Taal Volcano eruption totaled PHP 435,000. The amount was received by the representatives from the Philippine Red Cross and the Office of the Cabinet Secretary in the presence of SEIPI Chairman Glenn Everett and company donors during SEIPI’s Q1 General Membership held on January 31, 2020, at Okada Manila.

SEIPI Donates TV to 1st Air Reserve Center |

SEIPI supported the enlistment of its employees in the Air Force Reserves Program and donated a 50” television for Air Force Reserve training purposes. The donation was initially delivered to the 1st Air Reserve Center, represented by Colonel Consuelo Castillo, on December 19, 2019. The official turn-over ceremony was held during SEIPI’s Q1 General Membership held on January 31, 2020, at Okada Manila, in the presence of SEIPI Chairman Glenn Everett and PEZA Director-General Brig. General Charito Plaza.

SEIPI donated PHP 1,000,000 to the Philippine Red Cross through Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles in his Malacañang office on December 13, 2019. Half of the total amount went to the Mindanao earthquake victims while the other half was given to the Typhoon Tisoy victims. Company donors were recognized during SEIPI’s Q1 General Membership held on January 31, 2020, at Okada Manila.

This CSR Activity was held on August 2, 2019 at the Science and Technology Education Center, Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, in partnership with ROHM Electronics Phils., Ionics EMS, Inc., Knowles Electronics Philippines Corporation, ON Semiconductor Philippines, EMS Components Assembly Inc., FIF Foundation Inc., AC Energy and Toshiba Information Equipment (Phils.). Member-companies provided cash donations for the re-painting of nine (9) classrooms and for school supplies for 50 students.
On April 26, 2019, SEIPI and its member-companies donated adult diapers, toiletries, blankets, medical kits and grocery items to Rippling River Nursing Home, an institution in Baguio City that provides special care and nursing for 19 elders who are mostly retired professionals. Company donors include Continental Temic Electronics (Phils.) Inc., Moog Controls Corp., EMS Components Assembly Inc., Ibiden Philippines, Ionics EMS, Toshiba Information Equipment (Phils.) and University of Baguio.

The medical mission was held in Laray, Inayawan, Pardo, Cebu City on August 25, 2018, in partnership with Duck-IL Korea Inc. The activity was sponsored by Cebu Mitsumi, Maxim Integrated, Cebu Digital Hearing Solutions and Pocari Sweat. Volunteer doctors and nurses, with the assistance of Duck-IL employees, conducted medical check-ups for 100 patients in the community. They also received basic medicines, hygiene kits, food and other giveaways.

SEIPI held a CSR activity at Pinsao Daycare Center, Tam-awan Village, Baguio City on April 20, 2018, in partnership with Moog Controls Corp. School supplies and other items donated by Moog Controls Corp, PHINMA Energy and Toshiba Information Equipment (Phils.) were given to 30 pre-school children in the daycare center.

35 trainees from different barangays in Cebu participated in the Digibayanihan CSR activity at DOST, Plaza Independencia Port of Cebu. The session began with the welcome remarks and overview of Digibayanihan and Digibuy from SEIPI’s partner, Ms. Yvonne Flores of Intel. Mr. Neil Agbay, Easy Steps Trainer, proceeded with the training modules namely: Evaluating a Website, Recognizing Online Scams and Disaster Preparedness and Management. The trainees were assisted and guided by the trainers and SEIPI staff throughout the session. The session ended with the attendees answering the assessment to evaluate the training results.
23 delegates representing 14 SEIPI member-companies toured the Lear Plant. The tour started by welcoming SEIPI members by the plant manager for electronics, Ms. Jocelyn Herbito. She also shared the Lear’s Plant Lapu- lapu’s safety protocol as well as the plant’s profile and company overview. Thereafter, the members proceeded to the plant tour.
