The global digital signal processor market will grow 15% in 2010 as revenue rises from $5.6 billion in 2009 to $6.4 billion, according researcher Forward Concepts in Tempe, Ariz.

"Compared to 2008, 2009 was not very good year for DSPs, although sales improved over the last several months of the year," says Will Strauss, president of the research firm. "DSPs mirrored the overall semiconductor market, which also declined," he says.
