Consumer electronics (CE) devices are shifting from specific functions to multiple functions and Internet connectivity, creating an overlap of features and functions between product categories not only in the mobile segment, but also in other CE devices like digital TVs and set top boxes. This entire category is morphing into a larger "smart devices" grouping. These devices are increasingly sharing the same silicon components, operating systems, and application software.

 

The solar industry has been trying to increase prices. Industry sources indicate that 6-inch polysilicon solar wafers have been quoted around US$1.20-1.30/unit. However, downstream solar cell firms have not yet accepted the increased prices.

This is an invitation to all SEIPI Members to participate in the 27th SEIPI Tenpin Bowling Tournament at StarMall Bowling Lanes in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
