The SEIPI Networking Committees (NWCs) comprised of the mid-level management such as the Directors, Managers and Supervisors of the members companies. It covers eight (8) functional areas that are vital to the success of the industry namely safety and environmental protection, engineering, finance, information and technology, logistics, human resource, purchasing, logistics and security. All member companies are eligible to send in their representatives to all various NWCs. Considered as the core of SEIPI’s activities, these NWCs act as the platforms for benchmarking and exchange of ideas among mid-level managers of the various member companies.
One of SEIPI’s objectives is to augment the global competitiveness of the industry. Through the NWCs, it organizes a wide variety of training programs geared to the current needs of members.
The Office of the President is the Operations Management Group (OMG) of SEIPI. It is the main working group of SEIPI, tasked to implement its various plans and programs. The OMG Vision is to make SEIPI as the benchmark industry organization by enabling and driving efficient and effective professional business services and solutions to SEIPI members and its critical stakeholders.
Being the core organization, the President plan, lead, organizes and implements industry actions on important issues, with the view of strengthening the sector and helping it to sustain the growth it has achieved through the years.
Its activities center on the five strategies the Board has set for the organization, to wit: Global Competitiveness, Advocacy, Information, Networking and Services (G.A.I.N.S.).
Global Competitiveness Continuously drive the technical competency development by creating strong linkages and partnerships with S&T stakeholders.
Advocacy Provide leadership in escalating policy issues and concerns affecting the industry to the right parties by leveraging positive image and strong relationship with the government executives and officials.
Information Be the center for industry formation by providing SEIPI members and the public with relevant and up-to-date industry statistics, data, studies, reports and other pertinent materials.
Networking Provide excellent avenues where SEIPI members and its stakeholders can converge, partner and exchange information by institutionalizing business fora, meetings and conferences.
Services Provide relevant corporate support to members by providing professional consultancy and advisory services and facilities to SEIPI members.
The President manages the day to day operations of the organization and supervises the activities of all the Networking Committees (NWCs). A team of professionals supports the President that is essential to the Philippine electronics industry; handling various events and activities, relevant business services and solutions that promote and protect the business interest of its members and other stakeholders.
