THE SEIPI BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Board of Trustees sets the strategic direction of SEIPI. The policy creation, direction setting and decision-making duties rests on the 15-member Board of Trustees. The Board provides leadership and vision of the organization and are elected from no less than the Chief Executive, Presidents and General Managers of the regular member companies of the association.

The Board, which meets once every quarter, represents the diversity of the SEIPI member base, as it is a mix of foreign and Filipino companies. They lead in representing the industry in its partnership with government and other industry sectors. Various committees within the Board have likewise been established to respond to the widening matters of interest being promoted and addressed by the association.

SEIPI Trustees have a term of 2 years, but may be re-elected for additional terms. The presidency however is kept to a maximum of 2 one-year terms. SEIPI's Executive Director is a permanent member of the Board of Trustees.

THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

The Office of the President is the Operations Management Group of SEIPI. It is the main working group of SEIPI, tasked to implement its various plans and programs.

Being the core organization, the President plans, leads, organizes and implements industry actions on important issues, with the view of strengthening the sector and helping it sustain the growth it has achieved through the years.

Its actvities center on the five strategies the Board has set for the organization, to wit: Global Competitiveness, Advocacy, Information, Networking and Services (G.A.I.N.S.).

The President manages the day to day operations of the organization and supervises the activities of all the NWCs. A team of professionals handling various events and programs supports the President.
